10 Years of Computer Science – A contest for Design Students – 1st prize 800 €
If you are a student or an alumnus of the Faculty of Design @ FUB, we invite you to participate to our contest.
The Faculty of Computer Science celebrates its 10th birthday in 2010/2011, and we ask you develop a logo and a poster that we can use for the celebrations starting in October 2010.
The winner of the contest will receive a prize of 800 € and we will use the logo and poster to promote our Faculty during the whole year.
Further paid collaborations with the Faculty will also be possible.

Die Öffnungszeiten der Universitätsgebäude werden wie folgt festgelegt: Montag bis Samstag von 07.30 Uhr bis 24.00 Uhr. An Sonn- und Feiertagen bleiben die Universitätsgebäude geschlossen.
Gli orari di apertura vengono definiti nel seguente modo: dal lunedì al sabato dalle ore 07.30 alle ore 24.00. La domenica e nei giorni festivi le strutture universitarie rimangono chiuse.
Sicher auf Gletschern gehen, Sturzsicherung und Spaltenbergung sind Gegenstand eines Eiskurses, den die Müllerhütte (Stubaier Alpen, 3145m) vom 20.–22. August anbietet. Der Kurs wird von einem geprüften Bergführer geleitet und kostet incl. Unterkunft und Verpflegung € 125,– Weitere Infos und Anmeldung direkt bei den Hüttenwirten Heidi und Lukas 0472-647373 Der Kurs ist auf sechs Teilnehmer limitiert.
Hinweis: auf der Müllerhütte haben schon mehrere Studierende der Fakultät für Design und Künste gearbeitet.
After the last exam-day of the diplomas there will be the big party at Halle28. For all those who don’t know where it is: adress is “Via Schlachthofstraße 28″ near the Cineplexx Cinema.

‘Coalition of the Willing’ is a collaborative animated film and web-based event about an online war against global warming in a ‘post Copenhagen’ world.
‘Coalition of the Willing’ has been Directed and produced by Knife Party, written by Tim Rayner and crafted by a network of 24 artists from around the world using varied and eclectic film making techniques. Collaborators include some of the world’s top moving image talent, such as Decoy, World Leaders and Parasol Island.
Ich werd wohl wirklich die Vielfalt an Lebewesen – Mensch wie Tier – im WEG vermissen. Gestern lief uns dieser Hirschkäfer über den Weg, der dann auch gleich mal ins Fotostudio musste.
